About Velorin
Forged at a real table.
Velorin is a command console for tabletop roleplaying game masters — the tool that runs everything around the map: the world, the story, the people in it, and the hundred small things a living campaign generates every session.
Why it exists
Velorin is built by a DM who spends nearly all of his table time behind the screen. For years the connective tissue of his campaigns — which faction hates the party this week, what the shopkeeper promised three sessions ago, which quest the blacksmith's rumor was pointing at — lived in notebooks, spreadsheets, and memory. The software on offer covered the battlemap or the character sheet. Nothing ran the world between those things, and nothing connected them.
So he started building the console he wished he had. Velorin is that console.
What it is — and isn't
- It is a living campaign console: world lore, locations, shops, NPCs and factions, quests, rewards, session notes, and a chronicle — wired together, so what happens in one place ripples into the rest.
- It is not a virtual tabletop. Bring your own maps, or use basic ones — the map was never the hard part of running a world.
- It is not a character-sheet replacement. A player companion app is in development alongside the console, built for the other side of the screen.
Where it stands
Velorin is in active development, being built first for the tables that inspired it. When accounts open, your first campaign is free — and players build characters from the standard SRD classes, free. The waitlist is open now; joining it puts you in line for launch and tells us whether you DM, you play, or both — because Velorin is being shaped for all three.
